The Centre for Endangered Languages, Sikkim University has accomplished digitising the corpus for five languages Bhujel, Magar, Gurung, Rai-Rokdung and Sherpa. The Corpus consist of Text and TextGrids with IPA annotated words and sentences, translations of the text in Nepali and English. The Corpus also consist of the Audio files corresponding to the text. The Centre has also released android applications of Magar Dictionary, Bhujel Heritage Lexicon, Gurung Dictionary and Sherpa Dictionary. The dictionary applications are in the beta stage. The centre has also compiled a descriptive grammar of Magar and the draft version of the “Magar Grammar” was released on the 21st February, 2019 on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day.

Dictionary and Grammar of five endangered languages viz. Bhujel, Gurung, Magar, Rai-Rokdung and Sherpa are published by Centre for Endangered Languages, Sikkim University. These books were released by the Vice- Chancellor, Sikkim University; Prof. G.N Devy; Fr. Thadathil and community members on 23 November 2022.
